Engagements

Provo Center Street | Holly & Daren Engagements

Oh, Holly and Daren. They are so stinking cute together.

We had an adventure taking their engagement pictures. We were on the hunt for blossoms on Provo Center Street and we were also trying to avoid the rain! We got lucky with both..for the most part. Right after shooting over by the Nu Skin building, it starting to rain pretty good. We hid underneath an awning of a store for awhile but got a few great shots. Then went around the corner and it stopped raining. Yay. After that spot, they went and changed and it started raining again. As we were walking to another spot, we happened upon these gorgeous purple blossoms. Holy smokes! They were so pretty. And Holly and Daren were being super cute too, so it made the pics great! Then we walked a little further and found a real gem– pink blossoms and more brick walls. Love! Daren came up with a cute idea of blowing the blossom petals in each other's faces. Love those pics. They really made this session so easy. All they did was relax, talk, laugh, and be themselves. That was exactly what I wanted and it made for the cutest pictures!

So after we finished aka my card was full so it was time to be done, it started pouring! Then it started hailing. We were so wet! It was a fun night with these two!

Can't wait until formals! Loved meeting you guys!

Provo Canyon | Ellen & Nathan Engagements

Ellen and Nathan are one of those couples who are so easy going about everything. We had such a fun time up Provo Canyon in the snow. They were awesome and happy even though the snow was deep and it was a little chilly. By the end of the session, they were getting more and more fun and goofy and I loved it. Those made for the funnest pictures.

Their wedding is coming up quick. I'm excited to see them soon for their formals!

Tibble Fork Reservoir Engagements | Rachel & Alex

My sister in law is good friends with Rachel and she told her that I do wedding photography. We got in touch and i could tell that we'd be a good fit. She booked me almost right then and there! I am SO excited to photograph their wedding in May. Rachel and her fiance live in Texas right now and will be married in Utah and hopefully will move here as well. Just last week they came to visit and to do some major wedding planning. So we booked their engagements too!

Rachel and Alex love the outdoors so they wanted a beautiful mountain landscape. Tibble Fork was a perfect fit. They were very surprised how much snow there was when we got there. I, knowing that there would be an amazing view if we'd hike a little up the mountain, put them to work. Rachel was in a dress with Ugg boots and Alex was in a nice suit with dressy shoes. Oh boy. Every other step we sunk in to our knees. Yikes! Rachel was so brave though and kept going. We got to the spot where it was just right and they stayed on the path and posed while I work my way around them. Pretty soon I was in the snow up to my waist! I was super nervous on the inside but told them to smile. haha. Hopefully I'd get out. It was well worth the shot.

We did a lot of hiking and trudging through snow. They were adventurous with me. I loved it! They are such a cute couple. They were cracking each other up one moment and kissing the next. It was adorable!
