Payson, Utah Temple | Marrin & Ryan Wedding

I think Marrin is so awesome. I got the pleasure of knowing her at church in Young Womens. She always had a smile on her face, wore the cutest clothes, could rock blue highlights in her hair, and was super nice to me. I was pretty excited that she asked me to photograph her wedding. She had always told me stories of Ryan, but I never got to meet him. But he must be a pretty awesome guy too to get to marry Marrin.

On September 29th, they were sealed together in the Payson, Utah temple. Their sealing was at 5:30 so they could come out right at golden hour (a photographer's dream). Unfortunately a few things happened and they came out after the sun went down– but it was OK! It did not affect Ryan or Marrin's moods. They were excited to be married. After one group shot and a few wedding party shots, I finished taking their photos in the dark. It was fun to experiment with my flash and they were totally chill about it. Seriously I loved hanging out with them! I'm so happy that they are married!

Congrats Mr and Mrs Ricks!

Payson Canyon and Temple, UT | Kira & Troy Formals

I loved hanging out with these two! Troy's reaction to seeing Kira for the first time in her wedding dress was so awesome and just his personality. Loved it! Kira did look so gorgeous! They were extra fun and goofy together and just excited to get married soon.

Payson Temple, UT | Troy & Kira Wedding

On September 17, 2016, Kira and Troy were sealed in the Payson Temple for time and all eternity! It was a beautiful and hot September day. Troy and Kira came out all smiles of course– Troy even gave a couple of finger gun points (whatever you call it). haha. Everyone was so happy for them and congratulated and hugged them. We took group and family pics and then went on the side of the temple and did some fun wedding party pics. Their wedding party was so funny! We got some good shots.

After the temple and their luncheon, they had their reception at the Elk Ridge Stake Center. They did such a great job decorating the gym. I loved the furniture they got and all the cute, simple decor. The caterer did such an amazing job with the dessert table. Everything was so delicious and her decorating was so cute. Their cake decorator also did an amazing job. I can't believe the sugar flowers she made for the cake. It looked so beautiful!

While Kira and Troy greeted their guests, I went around taking pictures of decor and guests. Whenever I pointed the camera and Troy and Kira, they stopped and posed for a picture without me asking. They're so great! I went outside to take a few pictures of the church and found the wedding party decorating their car. They went to town! They wrote things on their windows, stuck on cookies, put balloons inside and then using 2 whole things of saran wrap they wrapped their car. They will have a hard time getting in!

After talking to their guests for a while, it was time to cut the cake! They were very sweet to each other and shoved cake in each other's faces very nicely. Next Kira danced with her dad. She was the first one to get married in her family, so it was very special to the both of them to have the first daddy daughter dance. Her dad even got a little emotional. Love photographing those moments! After the song ended, Kira's dad gave Troy her hand and they had their first dance as husband and wife. I loved watching them dance– Troy was being goofy at one moment and then smiling and being super sweet to her the next. Soon their parents joined the dancing and then a lot of other couples. Then the song ended and the crazy dancing broke out. The kids always love this part! Then Kira threw the bouquet. It was a fight to get to this one. Kira's cousin caught it!

After some more dancing and eating dessert, Kira and Troy were off. They were sent off by sparklers! It was pretty great seeing their reaction to their car. I for sure thought it would take 20 minutes to get the saran wrap off because they didn't have scissors, but they used a sparkler to burn a hole and got it off super quick. They said their goodbyes and drove off. They will have such a fun time in California at Disneyland for their Honeymoon. Lucky ducks!

Congrats Mr and Mrs Shuler!
