Wedding

Payson Temple, UT | Colton and Avonlea Wedding

Colton and Avonlea are not only amazing together, they are two amazing individuals as well. They are some of the nicest, genuine people. They exude happiness especially when they exited the doors of the Payson temple. They are finally husband and wife, sealed for eternity. How happy!

It was a freezing cold day, but the sun was out, so it made for a beautiful November day. I loved meeting their families and seeing them interact with them. They have some great parents that raised awesome kids.

They had their reception afterward at the Clarion in Payson. They were greeting their guests when I arrived. They are the sweetest people– I couldn't tell if they were greeting friends or acquaintances; they were so kind to everyone. Avonlea's grandpa was the DJ and host of the reception, so he helped keep things on schedule. It was great! Right on time, he had Colton and Avonlea cut the cake. Their cake was made by Kiarra Dalley– Avonlea's sister. And then her Grandma decorated it with flowers. It was beautiful. They cut it and stuffed it in each other's faces. It was fun!

Next Avonlea danced with her dad. As we were waiting for the music to turn on, a recording of her dad came on with a tune all about his little girl. It was sweet. But then the music came on and it was Avonlea's dad singing Butterfly Kisses. So sweet! Then the DJ asked other father/daughter duos to come dance with them. After it was Colton and his mom danced to their song. I loved watching them dance. Colton held his mom so tight. After their dance, it was time for Colton and Avonlea's first dance as husband and wife. This dance is always my favorite! They are so adorable. I've said it over and over again!

Now it was time for the fun! Avonlea's grandpa put on the upbeat music and everyone joined in. It was a packed dance floor. Colton's sister brought her missionary cardboard brother on the dance floor to do some crowd surfing. It was hilarious! I think each girl in that crowd got to dance with him. Avonlea went and changed soon after and then came back to throw the bouquet. Her cute sister caught it. After, the guests all lined up outside and lit the sparklers. Colton and Avonlea came running through them, dipped and kissed at the end, and then got in their decorated car. Off they went!

Congratulations Colton and Avonlea!

Payson Canyon, UT | Marrin & Ryan Formals

Marrin and Ryan are so easy going, I absolutely love hanging out with them. It was their idea to hike to this "pine forest" in Payson Canyon in their formal attire. I admit I was a little skeptical at first, but right in the middle of Maple Dell are these huge pine trees. Marrin laughed at me as I gasped. It was so pretty! The session was so much fun. They are so dang cute together. Ryan pulled out a smarties that happened to still be in his suit. Marrin was thrilled! These 2 are perfect for each other!

Emily and Natha Wedding

Emily and Natha are married! I'm so dang happy for them that they are finally together. They had to postpone their wedding day a lot because of Natha's visa issues, but he made it and October 15th turned out to be the perfect day! I'm surprised how good the weather was for them. It was super windy while they set up, but it calmed down for the ceremony and reception. It was a warm evening for October. It was wonderful!

They had their closest friends and family come to their ceremony. And one of Natha's friends had his family on Facetime.. Emily's bishop said some wonderful words to them and Emily's dad translated it into Spanish. They held hands and smiled the whole time. Then they exchanged rings and were announced husband and wife. Yay! It was so exciting!

The rest of the evening went so well. They talked to their guests and hung out with their friends. Then it was time to cut the cake! Emily got Natha pretty good in the face and so Natha retaliated. They had cake all over their faces. Next Emily threw her bouquet. Her sister was the one that caught it! After, Natha and Emily had their first dance. They are amazing dancers! After Emily's dance with her dad, Emily went and changed into a cute red dress and came back for some salsa dancing. It was such a fun party!

Congratulations you two!
