Woods on Ninth, Sandy UT | Jenn and Eric Wedding

Eric and Jenn’s wedding was so much fun! They got married at the Woods on Ninth and had a beautiful ceremony. Before the ceremony started, the clouds started to come in and the winds picked up. I was so nervous for them that it was going to pour rain any second. The ceremony started and the winds were really strong, so strong that I could barely hear the bishop speaking on the microphone. BUT- it didn’t rain! It was great! Eric’s kids were the flower girls and flower bearer. It was so cute to see them come down the aisle. Then Jenn’s dad walked her down the aisle and to the bridge where her and Eric got married. It was so happy!

Some other favorite things that I loved about their wedding:

  • The food was delicious. Mo Bettah’s catered and boy it was good. PLUS- Jenn made over 200 chocolate chip homemade cookies. Those were bomb!

  • Eric’s kids and nieces and nephews and Jenn’s niece and nephew were all so adorable. They liked having their pictures taken. Kids always make wedding receptions more fun.

  • The Dancing! It was so much fun! I love watching latin dancing- I wish I could do it! Eric’s cousins and aunt and Jenn’s friends were so hilarious! Oh my heck, I wish I would’ve taken video! It was such a party!

  • The send off was fun and one that I’ve never seen before. They all had white balloons and let them go when they came out. It was cool! Another thing I hadn’t seen before was 3 kids getting into the car with the bride and groom haha. Eric and Jenn had them for the night before they went back to their mom. They are DARLING kids.

Congratulations Jenn & Eric!!

The Rock LDS Church, UT | Shalese & Braydon Wedding

Shalese and Braydon are married! They had a beautiful wedding at the LDS Rock Church in Kaysville.

A few things I loved about their wedding:

  • I loved their ceremony. Shalese’s brother walked her down the aisle where he gave her away to Braydon. I loved the song that her uncle sang and the poem he recited. I also loved how their cute dog, Ruby was a part of the wedding party line and how she followed them back down the aisle after they were married.

  • I love their vintage style. They had so many awesome vintage bikes and old cars at their wedding. They also had old tea set, type writer, books, doors, chess pieces and a really awesome cake topper. Shalese told me that she loved that cake topper but was hesitant to buy it on ebay because it was kind of pricey. After Braydon gave her the go ahead, it had sold and she was so sad. But come to find out, her sister had purchased it and surprised Shalese for her birthday. It was so thoughtful!

  • I loved the display that they had of Shalese’s niece, Mikayla who had passed away just months before Shalese and Braydon’s wedding day. She was such a cutie and looked so much like her older sister. Throughout the night I would see Shalese’s mom showing her friends and telling stories about her sweet granddaughter.

  • I also loved that they had old photographs of their parents and grandparents wedding day. Braydon’s mom told me that it was one of not very many snapshots she had of their wedding day because their wedding photographer passed away just a week after their wedding. It made me so sad to hear that.

  • Ok- so I loved a lot of happy things too– they played the macarena that people danced to. It was so funny to watch some of the kids try to pick it up. It was cute watching Shalese and her niece dance together.

  • The bouquet toss is always a favorite! Shalese’s cousin caught it! Then Shalese and Braydon had their first dance. They are so sweet together! After talking to their guests for a while longer they had a bubble send off and drove away in their blue Volkswagen bus!

Congratulations Shalese and Braydon!
