Wedding

The Rock LDS Church, UT | Shalese & Braydon Wedding

Shalese and Braydon are married! They had a beautiful wedding at the LDS Rock Church in Kaysville.

A few things I loved about their wedding:

  • I loved their ceremony. Shalese’s brother walked her down the aisle where he gave her away to Braydon. I loved the song that her uncle sang and the poem he recited. I also loved how their cute dog, Ruby was a part of the wedding party line and how she followed them back down the aisle after they were married.

  • I love their vintage style. They had so many awesome vintage bikes and old cars at their wedding. They also had old tea set, type writer, books, doors, chess pieces and a really awesome cake topper. Shalese told me that she loved that cake topper but was hesitant to buy it on ebay because it was kind of pricey. After Braydon gave her the go ahead, it had sold and she was so sad. But come to find out, her sister had purchased it and surprised Shalese for her birthday. It was so thoughtful!

  • I loved the display that they had of Shalese’s niece, Mikayla who had passed away just months before Shalese and Braydon’s wedding day. She was such a cutie and looked so much like her older sister. Throughout the night I would see Shalese’s mom showing her friends and telling stories about her sweet granddaughter.

  • I also loved that they had old photographs of their parents and grandparents wedding day. Braydon’s mom told me that it was one of not very many snapshots she had of their wedding day because their wedding photographer passed away just a week after their wedding. It made me so sad to hear that.

  • Ok- so I loved a lot of happy things too– they played the macarena that people danced to. It was so funny to watch some of the kids try to pick it up. It was cute watching Shalese and her niece dance together.

  • The bouquet toss is always a favorite! Shalese’s cousin caught it! Then Shalese and Braydon had their first dance. They are so sweet together! After talking to their guests for a while longer they had a bubble send off and drove away in their blue Volkswagen bus!

Congratulations Shalese and Braydon!

Mount Timpanogos Temple, Utah | Zoe & Ben Wedding

Zoe and Ben’s wedding day was awesome! It was a beautiful, warm day at the Timpanogos temple and the tulips were out! Zoe and Ben were so excited to come out of the temple and greet their family and friends.

A few things that I loved about their wedding day:

  • Their wedding party! Zoe, Ben and their bridesmaids and groomsmen were so fun. I loved the ideas they had for their pictures. Plus I got to see some familiar faces and that’s always my favorite to see friends!

  • I loved all the nieces and nephews they had. The girls were so excited to greet them and hug them– they wouldn’t stop! haha. At the reception, they danced the whole time. They also gathered the gold plastic hearts and sprinkled them on Zoe and Ben during their first dance. They’re so funny! Little kids always make receptions more fun.

  • I loved meeting Zoe and Ben’s families. Zoe’s family is from England. I loved hearing their accents. They were so nice! Ben’s family is latino and had the best latin traditions including the money dance. I loved that both cultures came together to celebrate Zoe and Ben!

  • I loved how they decorated the cultural hall at the LDS church. They transformed it pretty well! They had pictures of Zoe and Ben as little kids and dating all over the walls plus cute quotes about love written on banners.

  • I loved all the dancing that happened! They had the daddy/daughter dance, the first dance, a money dance and upbeat fun dancing. There was some awesome dancers and some very entertaining funny dancers. They almost made me want to dance!

  • The whole night was very fun with the cake cutting, bouquet toss, the dancing and the send off.

I’m very happy for Zoe and Ben! They are such a sweet, nice couple. I found out they live close to me and they even offered to babysit my kids sometime. They’re the best!

    Congratulations you two!!
